Chris Zombolas: Dip Electronic Engineering, Founder, CEO and Technical Director of EMC Technologies.
Chris Zombolas is CEO, Technical Director and founder of EMC Technologies Pty Ltd, an internationally recognised Test House established in 1992 now employing over 40 specialist staff, with four accredited laboratories in Melbourne (two locations), Sydney and Auckland (NZ). He has over 40 years’ experience in the defence, aerospace, public transport and commercial electronics industries, with the last 35 years concentrated in the EMI/EMC and product compliance disciplines. He is an authorised ACMA Competent Body for EMC, EU designated CAB and NATA signatory for many standards.
He is a former president of the Electrical Compliance Testing Association of Australia, former convener of CISPR 11 working-group on Standards Australia TE/3 EMI committee, ACMA working-group, member of Radiocommunications Consultative Committees advising the Australian government on the framing of the EMC, EMR regulations and the EMC Competent Body Framework.
He is currently a member of the ACMA Technical Working Group (TWG) that advises the government on ACMA regulatory and compliance issues, member, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), IEEE EMC Society, Member of IEAust EMC Society;
James Chu: BSc (hons), Manager, Electrical Safety
James is fluent in English and Mandarin and is an expert in all aspects of Electrical Safety. He is a NATA signatory for safety testing of electrical products in various categories including electrical appliances, laboratory equipment, IT equipment, lighting products and electromedical equipment according to Australian and international standards.
